Introduction : This the story of Jadugoda Village of Badakanjiya
Panchayat. This village is situated around 10 kilometers from Dumuria headquarter. With
no good road for a good connectivity with Dumuria’s mainstream.
Introduction : There is women collective farmers group at Jadugoda ,
Badakanjia Dumuria. They are continuesly dong collective farming from 2016 and really
establishing a role model for others by their great job. This time they have got support
and recognization from block office.
Introduction : This is a short story of 10 women’s of Bankishole
village of Bankishole Panchayat of Dumuria Block. They all 10 women belongs to
marginalized families.

Story : Basanti Devi lives in Tiroldih village of
Ichagadh block in Saraikela District of Jharkhand. Many villages of Echagadh block are
water logged due to Subarnrekha Dam. During the rainy season the villagers are sifted to
outside of the village. Basanti says that it is difficult for going to the block office.
After her marriage she was having been with her husband for a few days in Jamshedpur
city that time she had trained sewing but she could not use her skills due to being in
the village. Basanti showed her talent when she was trained by the
ShramajiMahilaSamity, as an internet Saathis and she started teaching women on digital
literacy in her and other villages. She was shows the design of garments through
internet searching to rural women. She thought that she would start doing her own sewing
job and buy some clothes from the market and started stitching of blouse, frock, ladies
dress etc . During the teaching of the Internet, she shows the identical stitching;
gradually she started receiving orders, so that her employment started increasing. Her
husband has a ration shop with her house, and sometimes she settles in the shop. she saw
a problem in the night at the time to bring medicine in the village. I got a list of
many essential drugs from the net and asked the medical shop to take the medicine and
keep it in my husband's shop so that the people of the village can be helped. Income
from the shop also increased. Basanti said that she also has healthy training. She keeps
her shop open till 10 pm and she says that even in the late night, the problems of the
villagers she gives medicines. She has continued to serve the people along with his
employment. She has completed his education to teach his internet but she is still
learning.
Story : Sini worked as Internet Saathi in Kuchai Block.
While working at the Internet Sathi, She faced many problems like - in villages where
Sini was going, there were mostly family are in backward caste, and the literacy rate is
very low. Many people ask her what is the internet saathi program? whether it is a
government scheme what is available in the mobile. Many of them do not teach. Many times
people would not have been allowed to enter the house, despite being surrounded by
different situations, In this way, Sarah completes her target and becomes a familiarity
and identity in her village, all of whom are now known as” Internet Didi”. Sini is one
of the few things such as the Internet; she is a very good nurse, in the village. Where
she lives and services the common people. Through the use of the Internet, she gets more
information about medicine. Sini herself is very proud of these two identities as a
nurse and an internet Saathi. And she made her work even stronger through the internet
companion Sini have all the qualities of a leader, a team player and an entrepreneur.
The other two villages that she reached are Mutugura and Dhunadih .
Story : She used to tailor clothes for the women of her
village at a small scale. With that, she engaged in the Internet Saathi Program, and has
been an active Saathi. She reached her target of teaching 700 beneficiaries in a span of
three months of the inception of the program. Personally, she has up scaled her
tailoring practice. This has been possible with her newfound recognition in the nearby
village, as that has garnered clientele from over five nearby villages. Deveti now
watches videos on the internet, and gets designs off of the web which is liked by the
women who get clothes stitched from her. She has evolved as a spokesperson for women
empowerment in her village, as she has been encouraging women to start up something of
their own, and find an identity for them. Deveti encapsulates all the qualities of a
leader, a team player and an entrepreneur. The other two villages that she reached are
Bana and Barakanki.
